Scandinavian Design and Japanese Traditions

Vincent Catani is a growing Copenhagen based high-end eyewear brand, named after Finnish founder Vincent. Who in Collaboration with top eyewear craftsmen from Sabae Fukui, Japan. 

Florio frames are all made out of Grade A lightweight titanium fitted with UVA/B CR39 lenses. Titanium is a natural and highly durable material providing the frames with high quality and long lifetime. 

Concept for the shapes started by studying different types of aerodynamic elements and how it could be implemented into my style of eyewear design. A natural flow of energies from behind the ears throughout the frame for a unifying effect. Discretion is often associated with aerodynamics, with these frames I wanted them to stand out without trying to be loud and bold. The design is meant to invite through familiarity and create intrigue by attention to detail. Each frame is a fresh take on a classical shape made unique by actualizing these design elements. When you wear Florio frames you will feel confident, comfortable, and special.

Florio Story

This Collection is rooted in the past, made for the present, and a vision for the future. During the creation of this collection I have reflected a lot on where I come from, where am I today, and what is in stored for the future. For me its a tribute to my family, roots, and the environment that will continue to define me. The goal is to have the same effect on you. The name Florio which is an meaningful name in my family as is the names of each frame from the collection. The goal here is to have the same effect on you.
